Concrete

Concrete is a building material composed of aggregate, cement and water. The aggregates form a filler, the cement, after mixing with water, forms crystals that bond the aggregate together with a strong and flexible bond. The cement slurry gradually loses its plasticity and begins to solidify and cure until it finally changes to cement stone. To keep it simple we could say that while the stones form a skeleton, the cement with water is the tendons and muscles that hold the skeleton together.
