By purchasing the Mojtín quarry in February 2018, the cement plant acquired a high-quality raw material source located just 24 km away. Thanks to its reserves, the quarry secured the production's raw material independence from external limestone suppliers.
The transfer of the Beluša mining area in May 2018 led to a significant transformation of both mining activities and the concept of aggregate extraction and production, thereby streamlining excavation and transport operations.
