Bridging Theory and Practice: University Students Visit the CEMMAC Cement Plant
In April 2026, CEMMAC welcomed two groups of university students for educational visits, providing them with a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into industrial production processes and modern manufacturing technologies.
On 3 April 2026, we hosted students from the University of Žilina, followed by a visit from students of Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín on 23 April 2026.
Each visit began with a welcome session and a mandatory Health and Safety (H&S) briefing, an essential part of every tour of our production facilities. The students then embarked on a guided tour of the plant's key operational areas.
During the visit, they explored the quarry, raw material crusher, laboratory, control room, and packing plant, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the cement manufacturing process—from raw material extraction through to the final packaging of the finished product.
Throughout the more than three-and-a-half-hour tour, students and academic staff showed great interest in the technologies used at the plant, asking numerous technical questions and engaging in insightful discussions with our specialists. Their enthusiasm contributed to an informative and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Educational visits like these provide students with a unique opportunity to see how theoretical knowledge is applied in a real industrial environment, while also strengthening cooperation between industry and academia. At CEMMAC, we are proud to support the education of future engineers and technical professionals by sharing our expertise and practical experience.
Kvalita a inovácie sú našou hlavnou prioritou
